When should you convert PNG to PDF?

This version intentionally focuses on single-image conversion: one PNG image becomes one PDF page. The original aspect ratio is preserved and the image is centered on an A4 page without stretching.
PNG can contain transparent pixels, but the generated PDF page uses a white background. Transparent areas are therefore flattened onto white during PDF creation.
